The Network to date has taken over 3 years to build and now boasts over 300 Independent SMART and PDR technicians across the UK. All running their own independent businesses but also operating successfully under the 'Smart Solutions' banner on a national scale.
Our idea was based on the premise that independents could punch their weight more effectively as part of a National Network, and therefore compete with the challenge from the Franchised operators. It would also give access to business from contracts with National companies who prefer national rather than local coverage, business that would most probably escape localised independents. We are pleased to say that this has proven to be the case with numerous technicians glad to see the back of the dealership merry go round of 20 technicians chasing 10 dealerships for the same work.
You need at least 4 years experience in your chosen skill and must be able to provide bona fide references from satisfied customers.
